Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a local Class B Delivery Driver for a temp-to-hire role. The driver will deliver Kidney Dialysis products to clinics, hospitals, and homes, operating a 26-foot box truck with load/unload duties.

Local routes mean home daily, with at least one overnight trip weekly; hotel and meal allowance provided. Requirements include a valid Class B license, 1+ year delivery experience, DOT Medical Card, and a clean MVR.

Trillium Drivers has an immediate opening for a local Class B Delivery Driver in Grand Rapids, MI!

Pay Rate:$25 per hour with OT after 40 hours
Type:Temp-to-Hire

Schedule:

• Working Days:Monday - FridayPossible weekend work
• Shift:First Shift, starting between 4:00am -6:00am.
• Hours:Roughly 10-12 hours a day.

Position Overview:

• Delivering Kidney Dialysis Products to clinics, hospitals, and homes.
• Operating an automatic, 26-foot tandem and single axle box truck.
• Un/loading is required. Must have touch freight delivery experience.
• Local Routes. Home daily, except for being available for at least one overnight trip a week. Company will pay for hotel and provides a meal allowance.

Miscellaneous:

• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Training is all "hands-on" for 5-6 weeks, with one week of computer training.
• Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial.
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive.
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B license.
• At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable Class B delivery driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean MVR.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
