Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Taylor, MI is recruiting CDL Class B Drivers for a temp-to-hire opportunity. You will operate an automatic 26-foot box truck, pick up sharps and medical waste, and interact with customers on local routes.

Pay ranges from $25 to $26 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7:00 am – 5:00 pm). Must hold a valid Class B license, DOT Medical Card, clean MVR and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service rules.
• 1+ year of Class B delivery driving experience or similar.
• Valid Class B license with clean MVR.
• DOT Medical Card and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic 26-foot box truck on local routes.
• Pickup sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations.
• Pre/post-trip inspections and safe loading/unloading using scanner and tablet.

Position Overview

• Primary role as a Class B Truck Driver.
• Operating an automatic, 26-footbox truck.
• Pick up sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations.
• Customer facing role.
• Un/loading required utilizing a Scanner and Tablet. No other tools are needed.
• Local home daily routes.

Miscellaneous

• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial.
• Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive.
• Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B license.
• At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable Class B delivery driving experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean Background
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
