Job summary

Sun Shuttle and Transit serves the Ventura County community with safe, reliable transportation for children and adults with special needs. We’re looking for dependable School Bus Drivers to join our team. This full-time, on-the-road position serves Ventura County.

guaranteed a 5-hour shift, five days a week, with regular opportunities for overtime and charter runs. Safety-first mindset and dependable people skills are essential to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid California School Bus License with School Bus Endorsement.
• CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Medical Certification must be valid.
• Clean driving history is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive school bus on routes serving Ventura County.
• Ensure safety of children and adults with special needs while en route.
• Complete charter runs as needed.
• Maintain steady schedule with five-hour shifts, five days a week.
