Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a local CDL Class B route driver in Madison, AL to deliver products to grocery stores and ensure shelves are stocked with Red Baron®, Tony's®, Freschetta® pizza and other brands. The role requires a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement, ability to lift 35 pounds, and an age of 21 or older.

Work is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays; you will unload, use handheld tech, and build store relationships while complying with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to grocery stores to ensure availability on shelves.
• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and place in back room, collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.

What You Will Do

As a local CDL Class B route driver, you will deliver product to grocery stores to ensure our products are available on store shelves.

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations

• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections

What We Look For

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
