Job summary

Maine Oxy is hiring a Class B CDL Driver for our Distribution team in Lebanon, NH. You’ll run scheduled local routes delivering cylinders and hard goods, then head home each night. No overnights or long hauls, with a well‑maintained truck and a safety-focused team.

Starting at $29/hour with overtime, a $2,500 signing bonus, and company-paid healthcare and short‑term disability. Benefits include long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) with a company match, and 3 weeks of paid time off.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes.
• At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years.
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards.
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry.
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues.
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts.
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional.

What to expect (this is physical, hands-on work)

• Drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours, with frequent bending, standing, and reaching
• Routinely lift 25 to 75 pounds, occasionally more with equipmentI
• Work indoors and out, from roughly -10°F to over 100°F
• Use your senses to spot leaking gas from cylinders (see, hear, smell)
