Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a local CDL Class B route driver to deliver products to grocery stores. This full-time role offers an early start, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will unload, stock, and use handheld tech, maintain DOT compliance, and build in-store relationships while meeting service expectations. Candidates should have a Class B CDL with airbrake, HS diploma, and ability to lift 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products, place in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.

What You Will Do

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations
• Unload products, place product in the back room, and collect proof of delivery
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections

What We Look For

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
