Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking a Class B Route Delivery Driver to join our New Castle, CO team. You will operate a company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and on time, delivering to customer locations and terminals. The role requires a valid Class B CDL, 21+ years old, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and no recent DUI/DWI.

Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them are preferred. Local home daily with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them (renewals reimbursable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch or supervisor.
• Ensures all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection.
• Loads and/or unloads freight onto/off the vehicle, with or without mechanical aid.
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to company procedures.

The CDL B position is a Route Delivery Driver position in which you will operate a Company motor vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a specified time. This position unloads, sorts, palletizes, and reloads a wide variety of freight, manually or with the aid of a mechanical device.
