Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a Class B driver for the Taylor, MI area to collect sharps and medical waste from healthcare locations and deliver exceptional customer service daily.

The role offers autonomy, stable hours, OT potential, and comprehensive benefits. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a 6:00 AM start time and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new hires, paid in installments after 30 and 90 days respectively.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B license with Hazmat endorsement, CLEAN MVR, and valid DOT medical card.
• Delivery experience with medical waste or heavy goods is advantageous.
• Full-time hours ~40 per week with 1st shift starting at 6AM.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner and completing deliveries on schedule.
• Loading/unloading and organizing truck per schedule.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
