Job summary

Gold Star is seeking a Class B driver to organize and complete the delivery of commercial bulk and bagged feeds in the northeastern U.S. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate paperwork, and customer service during each delivery.

Responsibilities include pre-trip checks, vehicle maintenance, and loading/unloading feeds while maintaining clean trucks and proper documentation. Ideal candidates possess a valid CDL-B, DMV printout, and a history of reliable, compliant driving.

Qualifications

• Valid class B Commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
• Current DMV printout required as part of application process.
• 2+ years CDL-B driving experience.
• Driving record must meet minimum risk management requirements.
• Ability to read English and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe and courteous manner. Safety is first in every delivery task.
• Maintain truck with pre-trip checks and comply with DOT and regulatory requirements.
• Keep truck clean inside and out.
• Loads, reloads and assists others with loading as required.
• Inspect hatches, augers and blowers for operability and serviceability.
• Ensure feed is unloaded to the correct location/bin and document deliveries.
