Job summary

Advanced Turf Solutions, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver orders safely and on time, with additional duties in assisting with order picking and palletizing in the warehouse.

This role is based in the Operations department and requires attention to detail and reliable performance in all weather conditions. Responsibilities include loading, securing loads, setting delivery times, and maintaining the truck through daily logs and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to drive a 10 speed manual transmission truck (required).
• Class B CDL Driver’s License.
• Valid medical exam and clean driving record.
• Understanding of DOT laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders on time to customers.
• Check all orders for correct quantity and items.
• Properly load and strap down items.
• Assist with picking orders.
• Help to keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Set-up and confirm delivery times.
• Complete daily driver’s Log.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt/Hourly

JOB SUMMARY

The CDL Driver is responsible for delivering orders in a safe and effective manner. The CDL Driver will alsoassist in picking and palletizing orders that come into the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver orders on time to customers.
• Check all orders for correct quantity and items
• Properly load and strap down items
• Assist with picking orders
• Help to keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Set-up and confirm delivery times
• Complete daily driver’s Log
• Maintain upkeep of the truck – cleaning and scheduled maintenance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Dependable, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
• Ability to read and write daily correspondence
• Ability to interact on a daily basis with customers
• Ability to work in inclement weather loading and unloading product from truck
• Ability to work extended hours if needed
• Ability to multi-task
