Staffmark in Austin, TX is hiring a Class B Driver to operate a straight truck on local delivery routes, transporting mail and related materials with liftgate assistance as needed. Route times vary with early morning or afternoon/evening departures and local home daily schedules.

Expect 5–6 days per week with consistent pay, and benefits through Staffmark. Safety and DOT compliance are emphasized, along with professional customer service at delivery sites.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience within past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class B straight truck on local delivery routes.
• Transport and deliver mail and related materials safely and efficiently.
• Utilize liftgate equipment during deliveries when required.
• Handle and maneuver rolling mail bins at pickup and delivery locations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Rate:

• $27.40/hour + $5.55/hour Health & Wellness Stipend (first 40 hours worked)
• Effective rate of $33.05/hour for first 40 hours worked each week
• $32.95/hour after 40 hours worked

Schedule:

• Sunday through Saturday availability required
• Morning routes depart between 2:00 AM and 8:00 AM OR
• Afternoon/evening routes depart between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM

5 to 6 days per week; Local routes, home daily

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license + current DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required.
• Clean MVR and passable screenings.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience, within the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 combined violations or accidents in 3 years.
• Sharp on DOT regs, checks, and compliance.
