Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Tampa, FL is seeking a CDL-B Delivery Driver to safely and accurately deliver beverages to retail and on-premise customers. You will load and unload, inspect vehicles, verify invoices, and provide professional service.

Must have a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 65 lbs, and reliable, independent work style. The role includes a four-day week (Tue–Fri), with Mondays off, and opportunities to support warehouse activities as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with regulations and safety standards.
• Deliver products to customer locations according to routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and transport products, including cases and kegs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report concerns.
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition as per customer requirements.
• Collect signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and maintain records.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions.
• Communicate delivery status or issues with supervisors and team.
• Follow all safety procedures for lifting and loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and other operational duties as assigned.

Job description

The CDL B Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, bars, and other customer locations while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires operating a Class B commercial vehicle, or other company vehicle, in compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, as well as company safety standards. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading beverage products, inspecting vehicles before and after routes, verifying delivery invoices and documentation, and ensuring products are delivered in excellent condition. The ideal candidate possesses a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to build positive customer relationships. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the physical ability to lift, move, and deliver beverage cases, kegs, and related products throughout the workday.

Required Qualifications
