Job summary

Septic Blue in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Class B CDL Septic Technician to perform septic pumping, maintenance, and repair services at customer sites. The role emphasizes safe operation of vacuum trucks, thorough inspections, and proactive problem solving in a fast-growing company.

No prior septic experience is required; we will train the right candidate who holds a valid CDL. Competitive compensation with health/dental options and a path for advancement is offered.

Qualifications

• CDL required: Class A or B.
• Tanker endorsement required or willingness to obtain.
• Clean MVR on record.
• Experience in septic industry preferred, not required.
• Must be able to perform physical labor and lift heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform septic tank pumping, maintenance, and repair services.
• Conduct septic system inspections and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair septic system components, including pumps, pipes, and distribution boxes.
• Safely operate vacuum trucks, tools, and other equipment.
• Provide professional, exceptional customer service.
• Communicate with customers regarding services and recommendations.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable health regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and invoicing.

No septic experience? No problem! If you have a current and valid Class A or Class B CDL, we are willing to train the right candidate.

What We're Looking For

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

Septic, sewer, construction, plumbing, pest control, skilled trades, trade sales, or outside sales.
