The role offers home daily, Mon-Fri schedule, with 6–7 am starts and overtime after 40 hours.

Training is paid and out-of-state academy may be required. Starting pay is $26.50 per hour with commissions.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required or obtained within 90 days
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven customer service skills and safety compliance awareness
• Successful background check, drug test, and physical required
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards per 29 CFR 1910.134

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations and company safety policies.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company guidelines.

Safety-Kleen in Davenport, IA is seeking a Class B CDL Sales Route Driver (Sales and Service Route Driver). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

• Home Daily
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Average start time between 6-7 am, overtime after 40 hrs.
• Typically, an 8-10 hr. day
• Work life balance is a priority

Note: This position requires new hires to attend our out-of-state Academy training, which may require being away from home for a period of time. Training duration may vary based on scheduling and program requirements. Training is paid, and related expenses are covered by the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
