Job summary

Ace Hardware in Corbin, KY is seeking a Class B CDL Truck Driver to support daily deliveries to commercial and residential customers. You will load and unload, operate company vehicles, and work under the Store Manager’s guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include safe driving and timely deliveries, using the ACE app when needed, conducting safety checks, and maintaining professional customer interactions while navigating varied routes.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Class B CDL license.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork.
• Display good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing routes and priorities.
• Basic computer skills may be used for data entry or app usage.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and move products efficiently for delivery.
• Communicate with customers by phone to schedule deliveries and ensure careful delivery of merchandise.
• Possibly use the Ace delivery app to facilitate deliveries.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip safety inspections and address any deficits with the Store Manager.
• Navigate routes and follow company policies, ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
