Interstate Waste Services - CDL B Truck Driver Positions

We primarily service Northern New Jersey, Southern New York State, New York City, and have expanded into Pennsylvania and Ohio, where we operate a state-of-the-art rail-served landfill. Job Overview:

We are hiring CDL B Truck Drivers responsible for safely operating front, side, or rear-loading trucks to pick up waste or recyclable materials. Drivers will transport materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities, potentially making multiple trips per shift.

Job Highlights:

• Operate trucks safely for waste and recyclable material pickup
• Transport materials to appropriate facilities, with potential for multiple trips
• Operate manual and automatic trucks
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and maneuvering up to 100 pounds

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 7 years
• Clean MVR
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and traffic regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and read maps
• Meet physical and safety requirements
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, or holidays

Additional Job Requirements:

• Navigating through congested and confined city areas
• Skilled backing maneuvers
• Climbing in and out of truck cabs routinely

Drivers are responsible for pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA, DOT regulations, and local laws.
