Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. You will ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with safety standards before operation, completing daily vehicle condition reports as needed.
Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, route service, safe loading and disposal, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers to meet service goals.
POSITION SUMMARY: A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle, ensures that all Company, state and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes vehicle condition reports (“VCRs”) on a daily basis to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
The pay range for this position is $20.35 to $28.00* which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.
