Abramson Labor Group, a leading employment and workers' compensation law firm in Burbank, CA, seeks a Class Action Post Bar Clerk. The role supports class action litigation under licensed attorneys, building skills in research, writing, and case strategy for a future class action attorney.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with remote and in-person work as needed, competitive salary, and a path toward bar admission and professional growth in California wage and discrimination matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; California Bar exam taken with results pending, or awaiting formal admission.
• Demonstrated interest in employment law and/or class action litigation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Commitment to client advocacy and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting pleadings, including complaints, oppositions to motions to compel arbitration, and motions for settlement approval, for attorney review.
• Draft written discovery requests and responses under attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case law summaries and memoranda.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations alongside supervising attorneys (primarily virtual; occasional in-person appearances required).
• Support client contact, including case updates, witness preparation, and settlement discussions, under attorney direction.
• Assist with settlement negotiations and case strategy sessions.
• Organize and manage case files to ensure deadlines are met and work product is of the highest quality.
