Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking a CDL Class A regional driver in the Durham, NC area with weekly home time, stable career growth, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Expect 5 days out and 2 days home weekly, 1100 miles per week, 100% touch freight, automatic transmissions, and a hair test. Coverage within 700 miles of Front Royal, VA includes VA, NC, DC, PA, NH, OH, WV.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No felony for arson or theft in the last 10 years.
• Hair test drug screening is required.

Responsibilities

• 100% touch freight.
• Weekly home time with 5 days out and 2 days home.
• Coverage area within 700 miles of Front Royal, VA.

Coverage Area: VA, NC, DC, PA, NH, OH, WV all within 700 miles of the Front Royal, VA. Running 1100 miles with 1 to 6 stops per trailer.

Home Weekly: Out for 5 days and home for 2 days., (Days off: Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs).

100% Touch freight.

Transmission Type: Automatics.

Drug Test: Hair Test.

Job Requirements

3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.

Moving Violations

No more than 3 in the last 3 years.

No more than 2 in the last 12 months.

Automatic DQ's

No speeding in a school or construction zone in the last 6 months while holding a Class A CDL, outside of 3 months if not holding a CDL.

More than three moving violations in the past three years.

More than two moving violation in the last 12 months.

Any license suspensions in the last 12 months related to moving violations.

Felonies/Misdemeanor

All other charges will be reviewed.

No felony for arson or theft in the last 10 years.

No theft by check in the past 3 years.

No drug charges in the past 10 years.
