Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. You will partner with a reliable group to deliver and pickup stock, ensuring safety and timeliness in every route.

The role includes warehouse support and requires a strong customer-service approach and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, at least 12 months driving experience, and is prepared to obtain Hazmat endorsement within six weeks.

Qualifications

• Must start work at 5:00 a.m.
• Must observe DOT regulations resulting in a clean MVR
• Hazmat endorsement preferred and required within six weeks of hire
• Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment
• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Position requires a minimum of 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies on time to customers and sites.
• Visually inspect loaded trucks and report defects or problems.
• Work according to an assigned schedule.
• Provide professional interactions with customers for a positive experience.
• Maintain delivery records and monitor inventory availability and accuracy.
• Follow safety instructions to safeguard people and environment.
• Operate equipment and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
