Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Biglerville, PA is seeking Class A drivers for local truckload deliveries, mostly drop & hook, no touch freight. You will pick up trailers at a customer facility and deliver to the plant daily, with pallets to customer facilities.

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, starting at 6 AM with some flexibility. Pay rate is $28/hour and you will typically work 50+ hours per week. Required are CDL-A, a DOT physical, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license to operate a CMV.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of CDL-A driving experience in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up tractors trailers with pallets within designated routes.
• Complete paperwork at customer sites verifying deliveries.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations using ELD where required.
• Inspect vehicle for defects before and after trips and report issues.
• Drive automatic trucks (53’ dry vans/flatbeds) per location.

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Biglerville, PA area!

Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. You will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 6 AM start (There are some flexibilities with the work schedule). Pay rate is $28/hour!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles.
• Expected to make a certain number of deliveries.
• Expected to work 50+ hours/week.
• Will be driving automatic trucks; 53’ dry vans and/or flatbeds, depending on the location.
• Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips.
• Submit reports after trips indicating truck conditions.
• Maintain driver log through ELD according to U.S. DOT(FMSCA) regulations in locations where required.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 23 years of age.
• Must Possess a valid Class A CDL license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Ability to maneuver vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
