Job summary

Grocery Outlet Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Driver to support warehousing operations and transport orders along designated routes. You will ensure safe vehicle operation and load/unload duties, reporting to the Manager - Transportation.

Ideal candidates have CDL Class A, a clean driving record, and practical knowledge of DOT rules. The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in paperwork, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months OTR or 1 year local driving experience.
• Clean driving record and valid Class A-CDL license.
• Understanding of DOT regulations.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.
• Positive attitude and flexibility when working with others.
• Must pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Operate service truck to designated work sites per routing information.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive instructions.

About the Team:

Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About the Role:

Warehouse/ Delivery Driver provide support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities of transporting orders over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles; and loading and unloading orders. This role reports to the Manager - Transportation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection, report deficiencies to the shop immediately, report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Assistant Transportation Manager.
• Operate service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information.
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive instructions.
• Follow all established safety rules & regulations.
• Backhaul pickups as assigned.

Shift Hours:

• Monday,Tuesday,Friday,Saturday5:00am - 3:30pm

About The Pay:

• Pay Range: $26.66 Hourly

• Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

• Minimum 6-months OTR or 1-year driving local driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Valid Class A-CDL Driver’s License
• Understanding of Department of Transportation regulations
• Knowledge of basic math, as well as multi-step written and oral instructions
• Ability to write routine documents and speak clearly
