Job summary

Trillium Drivers is seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Laramie, WY for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM start time, with an average 10-hour workday. Drivers are home daily, with Saturdays required during peak season October–December.

Pay rate is $32/hour. This role requires touch freight with hand unloading, operating a manual-transmission day cab with a 53-foot trailer, and loading/unloading with a pallet jack.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience (from HTML).
• Experience handling touch freight and hand unloading is a plus.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission day cab.
• Clean driving record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled deliveries to Laramie and Casper.

• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently
• Load and unload freight using a pallet jack
• Complete deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers

Complete required shipping and delivery documentation, including:

• Driver logs
• Manifests
• Over-Short-Damage (OSD) reports
• Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Freight bills

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Follow safety procedures in warehouse, dock, driving, loading, and unloading environments
• Conduct pre- and post-dispatch equipment inspections
• Ensure the safe operation and care of all equipment

Qualifications

• ValidClass A CDL
• Minimum 2 yearsof Class A driving experience
• Ability to operate amanual transmission
• Clean driving record
• Experience using apallet jack
• Ability to safely lift up to100 lbs.
• Must be23years of age or older
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable and safety-focused
• Must pass a background check and physical assessment
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
