Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Kansas City, MO!

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday with a 6am start time. CDL Truck Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. They will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customer’s facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles.
2. Expected to make a certain number of deliveries, depending on location.
3. Expected to work 50+ hours/week.
4. The CDL Truck Driver will be driving automatic trucks; 53? dry vans and/or flatbeds, depending on the location.
5. Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.
6. Inspect truck for defects before and after trips.
7. Submit reports after trips indicating truck conditions.
8. Maintain driver log through ELD according to U.S. DOT (FMSCA) regulations in locations where required.
9. Operate trucks with extreme care, adhere to company procedures and safety regulations at all times.
10. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for the entire shift of varying lengths in time.

Experience and Qualifications

1. Minimum 23 years of age.
2. Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
3. Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
4. 1-year CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
5. Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred.
6. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
7. Ability to maneuver vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways.
8. High School Diploma or GED.
