Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking Class A Flat Bed Drivers for local deliveries. Expect drop & hook work with no-touch freight, picking up trailers at customer sites and delivering to plants daily. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with a pay rate of $25/hour.

Ideal candidates are at least 23 years old, possess a valid CDL-A, have flat bed experience, and can pass a DOT physical. PPE is required, and lifting up to 50–75 pounds may be necessary during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age.
• Flat Bed experience required.
• Valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CDL-A).
• Must pass a DOT physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
• 2 years CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic trucks (53’ dry vans and/or flatbeds depending on location).
• Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and pallet retrieval.
• Maintain driver logs per U.S. DOT (FMCSA) regulations where required.
• Lift up to 50–75 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, and walk for varying shift lengths.

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Flat Bed Drivers in the Jacksonville, FL area!

Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. You will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customer’s facilities.Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm. Pay rate is $25/hour!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The CDL Truck Driver will be driving automatic trucks; 53’dry vans and/or flatbeds, depending on the location.


• Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.


• Maintain driver log through ELD according to U.S. DOT (FMSCA) regulations in locations where required.


• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to -bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot and stand for entire shift of varying lengths in time.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 23 years of age.


• Flat Bed Experience required


• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.


• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.


• 2-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.


• High School Diploma or GED.


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
