Job description

Trillium Drivers is now hiring a CDL Class A Yard Driver in Carrollton, TX!

Pay: $27 per hour with overtime after 40 hours. Schedule: Monday – Friday, start time between 4pm-6pm, 8-12 hours per day. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!

This is a yard position that will primarily involve moving trailers safely and efficiently within the yard. Driver must be comfortable operating in tight spaces and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move and spot trailers throughout the yard
• Back trailers into dock doors and staging areas
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly
• Ensure trailers and equipment are secure
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and yard personnel
• Complete all necessary paperwork

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license
• At least 1+ year of recent and verifiable CDL Class A experience
• Yard jockey or yard spotting experience preferred
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Clean MVR
• Comfortable backing and maneuvering in tight areas
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Clean criminal background
• No Clearinghouse violations
