Job summary

Ferrell North America is seeking a Class A Transport Driver to deliver propane gas and related products in a punctual and safe manner. The role requires a high school diploma and a valid Class A CDL; hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred.

Responsibilities include safe regional delivery, vehicle maintenance, DOT compliance, daily inspections, and accurate paperwork. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies while serving Ferrellgas locations and area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.
• Two years tractor/trailer experience or equivalent after truck driving school.

Responsibilities

• Ensures regional pickup and safe delivery of propane gas and other products as directed.
• Maintains preventive maintenance program for transport truck and trailer.
• Follows DOT requirements and company safe driver guidelines.
• Performs daily inspections to ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
• Completes all required paperwork, certifications, logs, and regulatory documents.
• Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures.

This role typically requires a high school diploma and a minimum two years of experiences with a Class A CDL, tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain these endorsements
• Preferred two years tractor/trailer experience and/or combo 1yr experience after completion of truck driving school
• Demonstrated communications, interpersonal, and teamwork skills necessary to work safely and effectively with customers and Ferrellgas employees
