Job summary

Texas Pride Fuels is seeking a Lubricant Truck Driver to haul products to and from customer locations in West Texas and southeast New Mexico, operating Class A equipment (flatbed, step-deck, tanker) and advising customers on lubricants and applications.

Starting pay is $22/hour with a $0.50/hour bump for X endorsement, overtime after 40 hours, time-on-job raises, plus a $300 sign-on bonus, per diem, lodging, PTO in year one, and 401k with company match after one year.

Qualifications

  • Valid class A driver's license with tanker endorsement and clean driving record.
  • 2 years of class A driving experience.
  • Experience hauling hazardous materials in a tanker-trailer preferred.
  • Strong safety background.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Ability to adapt effectively in dynamic situations.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and within team setting.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT/Fill for Duty physical.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug test and background check.
  • Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Must be able to withstand the physical stress of long hours in inclement weather while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Haul various products to and from designated customer locations using Class A equipment (flatbed, step-deck, tanker).
  • Advise customers on products by applying knowledge of industrial lubricants and applications.
  • Verify and process shipment documents.
