Denali is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a tractor with an OGX end dump trailer, servicing approximately 10–16 stores per day. The driver will collect and haul food waste, maintain equipment, and provide dependable service at each stop. Overtime and travel to other service areas may be required.
This is a safety-sensitive position. The driver is responsible for working with a clear mind and protecting their own safety and the safety of others.
Safely operate a tractor and end dump trailer on assigned routes, including interstate routes when needed.
Service approximately 10–16 stores per day, following company routing and customer requirements.
Load, secure, haul, and unload food waste. Operate a manual or electric pallet jack when needed.
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report equipment, maintenance, and DOT concerns promptly.
Rinse bins and containers with a pressure washer and leave customer locations clean and free of debris.
Maintain accurate electronic driver logs, service tickets, contamination reports, and other required paperwork.
Keep the truck, trailer, and related equipment clean and in working order. Perform basic bin or equipment repairs with hand tools when appropriate.
Communicate regularly with customers, operations, and management about service or equipment issues.
Follow all DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company safety procedures. Report accidents and injuries immediately.
Participate in required safety calls and training.
Work overtime, adjust to route changes, and travel to other service areas as business needs require.
Valid Class A CDL, self-certified as a Non-Excepted Interstate driver.
At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience; 3 years preferred.
Clean MVR and PSP, a stable work history, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
End dump or other dump trailer experience preferred.
Electric pallet jack experience preferred.
Ability to use an electronic logging system, cell phone, and basic computer tools for work communication and documentation.
Regularly lift, pull, or push up to 70 pounds and bend, stoop, twist, shovel, and reach overhead.
Pull or roll totes weighing up to 300 pounds.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around odors associated with food waste and farms.
Be available for an early morning schedule, overtime, and reassignment to other routes or service areas when needed.
