Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking a Trainee Driver for a paid over-the-road training program with a Driver Mentor.

Home Time: 2 weeks OTR and 2 days at home. Compensation: $1300 to $1500 per week. Average weekly miles: 2500 to 3200.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 with a valid CDL Class A license.
• CDL school certificate with at least 120 hours.
• Clean MVR and background.
• Ability to pass D.O.T drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required inspections.
• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Operate a Class A tractor trailer on long haul routes.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and driver managers.
