Ascending Eagle is seeking a professional Class A CDL Driver to join our driver-first flatbed carrier in Hastings, NE. You will pilot a flatbed tractor-trailer to ensure safe, timely delivery of cargo and uphold elite safety standards.

This is a full-time, in-person role with competitive hourly pay and strong retirement and health benefits. Candidates should have 2+ years of regional or long-haul experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of proven success in regional or long-haul trucking.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances.
• Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and GPS proficiency.
• Ability to lift and secure heavy loads when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operations: drive a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver cargo safely and on schedule.
• Cargo Security: securely strap and protect flatbed loads from origin to destination.
• Vehicle Stewardship: perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Compliance & Documentation: maintain delivery logs, mileage, and fuel usage per DOT rules.
• Professional Communication: coordinate with dispatchers and customers for smooth deliveries.
• Safety Advocacy: follow traffic laws and report any mechanical concerns promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operations: Masterfully operate a Class A tractor-trailer to ensure all cargo reaches its destination safely and on schedule.
• Cargo Security: Expertly secure and protect all flatbed loads, maintaining the integrity of the product from origin to destination.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid Class A CDL with a clean, professional driving record.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven success in regional or long-haul trucking.
• Technical Skill: Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and proficiency with GPS systems
• Physical Readiness: Ability to handle the physical requirements of flatbed hauling, including securing heavy loads.

Qualifications
