Job summary

Coulter Services is seeking a Class A OTR Driver to safely operate late-model tractors across nationwide routes from Houston, TX. You will plan trips, perform thorough vehicle inspections, secure freight, and maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance while delivering exceptional customer service at shipper and receiver locations.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL, strong safety focus, and experience with ELD systems and compliance records.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Strong safety focus and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Ability to conduct inspections and document results accurately.
• Experience with freight securement and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer safely on OTR routes to meet on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Plan trips accurately and maintain route and delivery efficiency.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues as required.
• Secure freight properly to prevent damage and ensure safe transport.
• Maintain strict DOT/FMCSA compliance, using ELDs and following all safety regulations.
• Provide professional customer service at shipper/receiver locations.
