Sunrise Sanitation Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Class A or Class B CDL Driver to join our team. This role covers routes in Maryland and West Virginia, with base location varying by day.

You will operate front-load, roll-off, and occasional residential trucks, performing pre/post-trip inspections and ensuring on-time service across assigned routes. The ideal candidate has a clean MVR, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and the ability to travel as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL and clean MVR.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between Maryland and West Virginia routes as scheduled.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, including front-load, roll-off, and occasional residential collection trucks.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Service assigned routes across Maryland and West Virginia locations on time.
• Safely load, transport, and dispose of commercial, roll-off, and residential waste and recycling materials.
• Maintain accurate route and service documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Sunrise Sanitation in a professional manner.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A or Class B CDL Driver to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position covering routes in Maryland and West Virginia, with the driver’s base location varying by day depending on route assignment. This position involves operating commercial vehicles for front-load, roll-off, and occasional residential collection routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, including front-load, roll-off, and occasional residential collection trucks.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Service assigned routes across Maryland and West Virginia locations on time.
• Safely load, transport, and dispose of commercial, roll-off, and residential waste and recycling materials.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Clean driving record (MVR).
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience with front-load, roll-off, and/or residential collection equipment a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Willingness and ability to travel between Maryland and West Virginia route locations as scheduled.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience, with overtime opportunities.
