Job summary

ProDrivers is seeking an experienced Class A Hazmat Truck Driver for Altoona, PA. The role requires 12 months of recent Class A experience, a valid license, and a DOT medical card.

Drivers haul railroad parts and batteries in a Cascadia Freightliner with auto transmission, primarily no touch freight with occasional tailgate assistance. The position runs Monday through Thursday with a 11 PM start, plus an overnight Friday trip to Elkhart, IN and return Saturday.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ verifiable Class A Truck Driver experience in the last 3 years.
• Valid license and DOT Medical Card.
• Acceptable MVR and accident history; good work history.

Responsibilities

• Hauling railroad parts and batteries with a Cascadia Freightliner (automatic).
• Primarily no touch freight with occasional light tailgate work.
• Overnight to Elkhart, Indiana on Fridays and return Saturday; Monday–Thursday night schedule.
• Home overnight schedule; communicate schedule faithfully.

Truck Driver Description:

• Truck Driver Pay:
  • .60 per mile ($1625 weekly minimum)
  • $16.00 stop pay & $10.00 per tailgate assist
• Monday – Thursday (11 PM start time, home hightly)
  • Friday - Overnight to Elkhart Indiana and return Saturday
• Cascadia Freightliner with automatic transmission
• Hauling railroad parts and batteries
• Primarily no touch (certain stops may require light touch with tailgate assist)
