Job summary

Crystal Clean LLC is seeking a Branch Transport Representative to support sales and service for a defined geographic area. You will service existing customers, exchange solvents and replace drums and related equipment, while aligning work orders to minimize travel time.

Strong communication, safety, and customer-service skills are essential, along with a valid Class B CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements. The role offers a weekly base plus bonuses and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or be qualified to obtain a Class B CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in all job aspects and functions.
• Promote safety and efficiency in all employees and activity.
• Provide customer service and new business development in assigned geographic area.
• Service existing customers by exchanging solvent and/or replacing drums, parts washers and other equipment.
• Align work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
• Assess potential customer needs, present CC products and services, and develop new customers.
• Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
• Maintain driving log for DOT.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Specific Duties:

Position Qualification Requirements:

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Previous sales experience highly desirable
• Ability to maintain valid Class “B” CDL license and all required endorsements

Work Experience:

Minimum 1-year CC route sales experience preferred

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must have or be qualified to obtain a class “B” C.D.L. license + HazMat/Tanker endorsement. Class B CDL with endorsements preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) of major violations (Examples: DUI, Cell phone, No Seatbelt)

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator
• Steel toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest and hard hats

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting of materials that typically weigh 54-80lbs
• Frequent pushing/pulling of 16–55-gallon drums of waste/product (typically 140-460lbs
• Frequent climbing ladders, vehicles, and storage tanks to access used oil/wastes
• Occasionally pulling/dragging hoses out of truck (10-55lbs each)
• All applicants must pass the company paid physical exam including substance abuse screening

Work Environment:

While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach with hands, stand, walk, drive frequently, use a computer keyboard, mouse, mobile phone, and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting and twisting frequently. The Branch Transport Representative will frequently be exposed to dirt, dust and fumes. Noise level of the environment is generally moderate but may vary depending on customer site visits. The compensation for this role is comprised of a weekly base salary, plus bonuses and uncapped commission. Actual total earnings will vary based on performance and location and may fall outside of the range shown. Average Annual Earnings: $50,000-$75,000 plus a year and includes benefits such as the following:
