Job summary

TransForce is seeking a Class A Hazmat Driver for a local Grand Rapids route hauling cleaning supplies. You will make up to seven stops per day and perform light-touch freight handling, including wrapping skids and loading and unloading the trailer.

Start time is 11:30 p.m. with about 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday. This position offers competitive weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in 3 years.
• Meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Able to safely operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks and hi-los.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CMV on local delivery routes.
• Transport and deliver cleaning supplies to scheduled stops.
• Load and unload freight using material-handling equipment.
• Wrap and secure skids for safe transport.

About the Position

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with Hazmat endorsement.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to safely handle freight and operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hi-los.
