Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team in Desert Center, CA. You will safely operate end dump trailers, complete logs and deliveries, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires at least 2 years of verifiable Class A experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with a schedule Mon-Fri 3AM-3PM.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for End Dump Trailers.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience as Class A Driver.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
