Job summary

Universal Logistics is hiring Company Drivers for second shift and overnight routes. Earn competitive pay with per-mile rates and hourly detention pay. The job includes local Tennessee routes with occasional deliveries to nearby states, offering predictable home time.

Must have a CDL A license; training is available for new drivers. This is a full-time, in-person role with opportunities across shifts, including evenings and overnights.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required.
• Training program available for drivers with no experience.
• 2nd shift and overnight driving positions available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods on local TN routes and nearby states.
• Operate safely and comply with CDL requirements.
• Maintain records and communicate with dispatch.
• Support back-to-back shift operations, including overnight schedules.

2nd shift drivers delivering to Canton, MS

Launch time 5pm-7pm

486 Miles a day

Deliveries to Smyrna, TN

Launch time 7pm-9pm

402 miles a day

There are lanes 1.5 hours out and lanes where you are out 2 days at a time. Lanes within TN and others go to KY, SC, NC, AL and MO. They run, FCA, Nissan, Ford and GM. We are looking for second shift and overnight drivers.

COMPANY DRIVERS:

Pay: $0.54/mile 1st year

$0.55/mile 2nd year

$0.56/mile 3rd year

Additional hourly rate of $23.00/hr for detention, wait times, shuttles.

250 mile radius

All 3 shifts available! (mostly 2nd shift with limited 1st shift openings)

Requirements & Experience:
