Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Driver for a 2nd shift starting at 4am. You will drive a Class A tractor-trailer, perform inspections, deliver goods locally and long-distance, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Key requirements include a valid CDL, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and capability to pass background checks and drug tests. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and load/unload cargo.
• Excellent safety awareness and time management.
• Willingness to pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance to customer locations timely and safely.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety rules, and company policies.
• Maintain clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure cargo is secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure vehicle is properly maintained and report issues promptly.

2nd Shift Start Time 4am Start Time | $26/hr. | Monday-Friday | Paid Weekly.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

What We Prefer

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
