Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a Class A CDL driver to deliver products across diverse routes in Georgia. You will operate a CMV, perform inspections, and ensure accurate paperwork while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Must possess a valid interstate Medical Card.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or walk; sit for long periods.
• Must communicate in English within safety requirements.
• Comply with truck driving rules, company policies and procedures.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Meets FMCSR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate aCMV for product delivery in varying traffic/weather.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and handling paperwork/invoices.
• Load and unload products for customers.
• Maintain required certifications and safety programs.
• Develop product/inventory knowledge and adhere to procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV for the delivery of products in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
• Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections; including, but not limited to: ensuring that correct products are on the truck prior to departure, filling out any required paperwork, and collecting/submitting invoices (checks and/or cash) when required.
• Load and unload products for the customers
• Maintain all required certifications by DOT and company safety program
• Develop expertise of our products, inventory controls, and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Must possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Card
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or walk; as well as sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English within the context of the job and safety requirements
• Must be able to comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
• Meets or exceeds minimum requirements established by Quirch Foods and FMCSR
