Job summary

Paragon Pro Rentals is seeking a Semi Class A Driver to transport rental equipment to customers and local locations. The role includes operating a semi-tractor trailer, loading/unloading, and maintaining clear communication with the dispatcher to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, verify paperwork, and report any damage. A valid state license, English proficiency, and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Must pass DOT regulations and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and operate rental equipment and load/unload as needed.
• Drive GVWR 26,001+ lbs; may tow 10,001+ lbs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify order paperwork for accuracy.
• Record and report any customer or driver damage to equipment.
• Provide basic customer training upon delivery.
• Coordinate with dispatcher to deliver equipment via the most efficient route.

Job description

The job of a Semi Class \"A\" Driver consists of transporting rental equipment to our customers and other local locations. In performing this job, the Class A Driver will drive a semi-tractor trailer truck and will usually also load and unload the trailer sometimes with or without assistance from other workers.
