Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Class A Driver in Los Angeles to support our transportation team. The role focuses on delivering orders to customers, loading/unloading, and optimizing routes for timely service.

Applicants should have a CDL Class A, a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of tractor-trailer experience. A clean driving record is preferred, along with basic Microsoft Teams knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Efficient operations: picking and packing orders, drive and deliver to customers, load and unload products, configure routes to improve service levels.
• Quality and compliance: verify orders, complete paperwork, ensure safe loading and secure the load.
• Return shipping documents to Transportation Manager; maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues; represent the company positively in customer interactions.

The Delivery Driver – Class A at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to ensure total customer satisfaction through complete and reliable delivery service. This position involves handling products carefully and delivering them in a timely manner to the correct destination and is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety conscious, and has strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Efficient Operations:
   
   
   
   • Picking and packing orders.
   
   
   • Drive and deliver orders to customers.
   
   
   • Load and unload products.
   
   
   • Configure routes when necessary to help improve service levels to customers.
   
   
   
   


2. Quality and Compliance:
   
   
   
   • Verify order to ensure correct products loaded.
   
   
   • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
   
   
   • Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order.
   
   
   • Make sure the load is properly secured.
   
   
   • Return all shipping documents to Transportation Manager on completion of deliveries.
   
   
   • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager.
   
   
   • Represent the company in a positive manner in all customer interactions.
   
   
   • Address and resolve customer problems, as appropriate.
   
   
   
   

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

Education and Experience
