Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Class A Driver in Lexington, NC to transport windows, screens, hardware, and patio doors on regional routes with weekends at home.

You will drive safely, perform vehicle inspections, maintain documentation, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. CDL-A, DOT Medical Card, and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration are required, with at least 1 year of CDL experience.

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour

Schedule: Sunday – Friday | Regional Routes | Home on the Weekends

Drivers are responsible for hauling Windows, Screen, Hardware, Patio Doors. Floor Loaded, Strapping inside of Trailer. (Product is stacked to the sides within the trailers. Drivers will "Tailgate" the materials the rear of the trailer for customers to off load from there.

Job Duties

• Haul windows, screens, hardware, patio doors, etc.
• Light or no touch
• No unloading
• Floor loaded – Strapping inside of trailer

Driving Requirements

• 22+ years of age
• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

As a Class A Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Class A Driver supports supply chain operations by transporting freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires professional driving ability, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
