Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) in La Puente, CA is seeking a Class A CDL driver for local routes with home daily schedules. You will deliver food products to restaurant customers, perform DOT logs, and maintain safety and accuracy on every run.

The role requires 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, ability to lift 75+ lbs, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and uniforms.

Class A CDL Driver – La Puente, CA

What You’ll Do:

In This Role, You’ll:

• Operate a EV tractor-trailer on local routes – solo
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a 100% touch-freight role
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

What You’ll Bring:

• A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations
• Union Experience – Experience working in unionized environments strongly preferred

The Schedule & Setting:

• Dispatch times between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you must be open to all schedules - home daily, no layovers
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $34/hour (Effective 10/25/2026)
