Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a full-time CDL Class A delivery driver to serve our nationwide customer base with reliable ice delivery. Drivers operate in articulated vehicles on assigned routes or transport truckloads to customer locations, with routes adjusted per business needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and a driving record that meets company standards. You’ll unload, load, and rotate product in merchandisers, lifting up to 40 lbs, in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL license.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience with a similar vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) under a CDL Class A license.
• Operate on assigned delivery routes or transport truckloads to customer locations; routes may change as needed.
• Load/unload and rotate product in merchandisers/iceboxes; may require lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Work in all weather and be available for weekend, night, and holiday shifts.

Job Summary:

This position delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.

Education & Experience Required:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a current/valid class A CDL license
• Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required

Education & Experience Preferred:

• Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
