Job summary

Bunzl plc is hiring drivers for home daily routing with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Starting at 6am, drivers will operate Class A tractors, perform inspections, and ensure timely deliveries locally and over distance. You’ll maintain logs, comply with DOT rules, and work within a modern, safety‑driven fleet.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CDL A, a clean record, and strong communication and time management. Benefits include competitive pay, health plans, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record and compliance with safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb and assist with loading/unloading.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork promptly.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report issues to management.
• Daily drop-and-hook routes to customer distribution centers.

Home Daily | Tuesday-Saturday | $27/hr minimum | 6am Start | Drop and Hook Routes

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.
• Daily drop-and-hook routes to customer distribution centers

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
