Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Class A Driver in Houston, TX. The role features a 6:00 AM start, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays, and a pay rate of $28.00–$29.00 per hour. You will deliver electrical supplies, operate various trucks, load/unload, and ensure safety with DOT compliance.

Job Duties

• Deliver electrical supplies and equipment to customer job sites
• Operate a variety of company vehicles and trailers
• Load, unload, and secure materials for transport
• Assist warehouse staff with picking orders and staging materials
• Support daily warehouse operations as needed
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain DOT compliance

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Experience operating F550 flatbed trucks, F550 stake bed trucks with lift gates, 32 gooseneck trailers, and Class B tilt bed trucks preferred
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles in local and regional routes with same-day returns
• Ability to assist with loading, unloading, and securing cargo
