Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Rialto, CA, is seeking a Class A Driver for local routes hauling reinforced concrete pipe. Earn $26/hour with overtime and bonuses, with annual earnings around $95k. Home every day, steady local work, and full benefits are included.

Responsibilities include delivering pipes, verifying orders, inspecting vehicles, and keeping detailed logs while complying with ICC and DOT rules. Requires 3+ years CDL-A and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years Class A CDL experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• 2-5 years flatbed experience preferred.
• Pass background, MVR, drug test and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Transport concrete pipes to job sites.
• Verify that the order matches shipment.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles; keep receipts.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Overview:

Responsible for transporting reinforced concrete pipe from one place to another using tractor-trailer flatbed trucks. Operates trucks with a capacity of at least 80,000 pounds per gross vehicle weight. Home every day, all jobs are local!! ! Annual earnings around $95,000!

Responsibilities:

• Transport concrete pipes to job sites
• Verify that the order matches shipment
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report it to our mechanics to fix
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Skills needed:

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditionsetc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly - ALL DELIVERIES ARE LOCAL
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times

Qualifications:
