Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products is hiring a Class A Delivery Driver to service local routes. You will deliver hardwood lumber, sheet stock, doors and supplies, with most days spent home daily and no weekend work.

You may load and unload your truck and interact with customers in a safety‑minded environment. Requirements include a valid CDL A and medical card, the ability to pass drug tests and pre‑employment screenings, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• History of being a truck driver/delivery driver with Class A CDL.
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to pass a drug test, background clearance, and pre-employment screenings.
• Must pass a driving test and a DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers using a CDL A vehicle.
• Load and unload the truck when required by the customer.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Occasionally lift heavy products and load onto a truck.

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end products for the commercial industrial retail residential and institutional markets. In New Century KS, Lebanon TN and Rockford IL we do business as Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers and River City Millwork respectively.

Position: We are growing and seeking a Class A Delivery Driver. You will deliver mostly hardwood lumber and sheet stock doors and other supplies. This position requires you to physically load and unload product and engage with our customers.

Your Day to Day

• Use your CDL A license to deliver products to our customers
• Potentially load and unload your truck depending on the customer
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage or load onto a truck

Requirements and Qualifications

• History of being a truck driver, delivery driver and especially experience with a Class A CDL
• Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty
• Strong physical stamina (role requires a lot of physical activity)
• Highly organized and self‑motivated, a self‑starter who doesn’t require constant supervision
• Experienced driver with a Class A driver’s license (CDL A) and medical card
• Able to pass a drug test, background clearance, clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre‑employment screen
• Required to pass a driving test
• Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and provide a valid medical card
• This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings
