Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a CDL-A regional Delivery Driver in Smyrna, TN. You will operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes, deliver freight safely, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Expect night shifts with route-based start times and pre/post-trip inspections. The role offers $28.50 per hour plus a $30 per diem, OT after 40 hours, weekly pay, and benefits through Staffmark.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer dry van experience with touch freight within the last 3 years.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• DOT Medical Card.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR.
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer with a dry van trailer on regional delivery routes.
• Transport retail products safely and efficiently to customer locations.
• Unload freight by placing boxes onto an accordion roller system that extends into the trailer.
• Coordinate with store personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Accurately complete logs, delivery paperwork, and required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Ensure freight is delivered safely and on schedule.
